George parsenios

george parseniosGeorge Parsenios is professor of New Testament at Princeton Theological Seminary, where he teaches courses on the New Testament in its ancient social and literary environment. He has written three books on New Testament themes, including First, Second, and Third John (Baker Academic, 2014); Rhetoric and Drama in the Johannine Lawsuit Motif (Tübingen; Mohr Siebeck, 2010); and Departure and Consolation: The Johannine Farewell Discourses in Light of Greco-Roman Literature (Leiden; EJ Brill, 2005). He is a Greek Orthodox priest in the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of New Jersey.
