Gerald C. Liu
Gerald C. Liu is assistant professor of worship and preaching at Princeton Theological Seminary. The son of culturally Buddhist immigrants from Taiwan, he is also an ordained United Methodist elder of the Mississippi Annual Conference and serves as a minister in residence at the Church of the Village in Manhattan.
For the North American Academy of Liturgy [NAAL], he helps to select membership. He sits on the board of Societas Liturgica, an international gathering of liturgical scholars, teachers, and practitioners. He co-convenes the Narrative and Imagination workgroup at the Academy of Homiletics, edits the Worship section of the journal Homiletic, and is the author of several articles in the study of worship and preaching, as well as the monograph, Music and the Generosity of God (2017).
