Kamalesh Stephen, PhD ’13, ThM ’09, served World Vision of India for two years before coming to the United States in 1990 to pursue his dual Master of Divinity and Economic Development from Eastern University and Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Theological Seminary) respectively. In 1998, he helped establish Grace-Trinity UCC in Philadelphia along with the church’s senior pastor. He continued his academic journey at Princeton Theological Seminary, earning ThM and PhD degrees in the area of homiletics. 

He served as an adjunct faculty at Palmer Theological Seminary until 2014. As an adjunct at Princeton Seminary, he taught the introduction to preaching class. He has been the senior pastor of the Asian Indian Christian Church located in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, since February 2015.
